About
The story of Valentine Wolfe begins in Athens, Georgia. Both Sarah (vocals, keyboards, and programming)) and Bo (bass and programming) were music students of at The University of Georgia, and in 2006, they decided to collaborate on a live electronic music project. By combining contradictions and extremes, such as Sarah’s sultry and delicate vocals with Bo’s aggressive and dark double bass, pre-realized music and real time manipulation of sounds, looping and riffing, simplicity and complexity, sacred and profane, Valentine Wolfe was born. Not quite a rock band, not quite a chamber ensemble, Valentine Wolfe is in turns haunting, mesmerizing, sensual, violent, brooding, and martial.
Valentine Wolfe is music of atmosphere, a mirror reflecting a world both forbidden and seductive. We continue to work on material while searching for the best fit to distribute our media; currently most of our music can be streamed from our MySpace or Vampire Freaks page.
More things always abound; watch this space and others for new material from us.
